From the passion of a small team in a 65 m² workshop to the reality of an international company with over 12,000 m² of plant: the story of LASIT is one of innovation, growth and vision. Founded in a hamlet in the province of Naples in 1990, the company has been able to transform itself year after year, investing in research, technology and talent, evolving into a global benchmark in the laser marking and processing industry. Each stage in LASIT’s history represents a step toward excellence. Through expanding production space, opening international offices and continuously developing new technologies, LASIT has built a solid presence in more than 80 countries.
2025
In 2025 LASIT opens two offices in the United States, in Kentucky and Florida, to address a dynamic and competitive market with widespread presence and dedicated support services.
2024
In late 2024, the French office is opened to offer direct, timely and personalized support to customers, further consolidating LASIT's European network.
2023
In 2023, LASIT Germany is opened to respond promptly to the needs of the German market, providing specialized technical assistance and direct support to customers in the area.
2022
The opening of LASIT UK in 2022 makes it possible to respond promptly to the needs of the UK market, with a particular focus on the automotive and manufacturing sectors, guaranteeing specialized and timely technical support.
2022
After opening in Poland, LASIT will reopen its horizons in the international market in 2022 by turning its gaze westward to the Iberian Peninsula with the opening of the Spanish office to consolidate its presence in the European market.
2021
In 2021, the Poland office is opened to preside over a rapidly expanding market and strengthen LASIT's presence in Eastern Europe, offering direct technical and commercial support to customers in the area.
2019
The company moved to a 12,000-square-meter plant that includes a 500-square-meter laboratory and became Europe's largest factory dedicated to this technology.
2017
LASIT is now a point of reference for European and international companies. Thanks to a dense network of partners, the company successfully serves clients in the national and international territory.
2015
LASIT opens Vimercate location for technical support, with trained staff and spare parts always available to ensure immediate support for customers in northern Italy.
2014
One year after moving to larger premises and doubling its production staff, LASIT designs the first laser marking system capable of working with an anthropomorphic robot.
2007
Aware of the importance of research and expertise, LASIT collaborates with research institutions such as the ILT Institute in Aachen, with which it has developed a real-time laser beam control system.
2006
LASIT moves from in-house source manufacturing to the design of industrial automation systems, making it a trusted partner of leading companies in the home appliance, tooling and hydraulics sectors.
2003
LASIT designs and manufactures the fully air-cooled Nd: Yag laser, an absolutely innovative technology for Industry in the early 2000s.
1995
LASIT wins the first major manufacturing challenge for ISCAR and builds a fully automated plant with a vision system for marking inserts.
1993
Interest shifts to laser marking systems. The first lamp system is made - totally designed in LASIT - then sold to the Hoffman company in Monza.
1991
In 1991 LASIT designed and manufactured the Pre-Scan - 3-axis scanning unit - second in the world only to the American General Scanning.
