From Precision Machine Tools to Laser Marking: LASIT Chooses Intermerkur for Serbia

It is with this in mind that we announce our new partnership with Intermerkur Machinery & Services, which as of today officially represents LASIT in Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

The choice is no accident. Intermerkur was founded in Belgrade in 1948 as a bridge between the Swiss and the Yugoslav markets, and today Intermerkur Machinery & Services, headed by its Director Mrs. Ivanović, is the authorized representative of renowned Swiss, German, Italian and Turkish manufacturers of precision machine tools, industrial systems and special machines for the metalworking and automotive industries — brands such as Spinner, Ziersch, United Machining, Bruderer, Ecoclean and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.

Anyone who sells and services CNC machine tools and measuring systems every day knows the value of the micron, of the detail, of the exact measurement: the very same culture of precision that has always guided the development of our laser marking systems.
It is hard to imagine firmer common ground.

Three sectors, one shared requirement: traceability

Intermerkur’s customer base also spans the sectors that are strategic for us in the region: Automotive — from foundries and stamping plants to tier-1 suppliers — Electronics & Home Appliances, and precision Tools and mechanical workshops. Intermerkur does not just sell machines: it runs an authorized service center in Serbia, supplies spare parts and consumables directly from the manufacturers, and offers training for operators and technical staff, on site or at the manufacturers’ training centers. Exactly the structure a laser marking system needs after installation.
